has new owner… continues with same mission

PainfullyFit Attire

As of 12/17, I am the new owner of I assure you the past years are not forgotten, as I look back where the website traffic engaged, encourages me to continue in the fashion it was originated and run with the same mission.

About Me:

Why… you ask? Let me Introduce myself.

My name is Sharon Davis, a Vietnam Era AF Bratt, ex-wife of AF personnel, mother of a Coastie, and a Retired Federal Civil Service employee. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Professional Counselor. For the past 20 years, I have been working with various members of all military.

I have worked at NATTC, NAS MEMPHIS, TN (17 years), VAMC Memphis, TN (6 years), Ft Campbell, KY (5 Years), and presently have a private practice in Clarksville, TN. My private practice is not a “Job” as I have a passion. The population of choice for me is military and their families who are struggling with issues related to deployments.

My husband is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and works on Ft Campbell, KY. He has agreed to write articles for me about his experiences working with EMDR.

While working at Fort Campbell, KY I worked with families and soldiers going and coming from deployment. I worked as a Military Family Life Counselor for 101st HHB and EOD for 3 years. Seeing what these families were going thru reminded me of what I had dealt with as a child. Made my determination, even more, to provide treatment for our Military Families.

Traveled to New York City to join 4 other therapists to produce videos regarding issues our field of study could use to sharpen their skills. I chose MILITARY FAMILIES. To my surprise, the clinicians at the meeting knew very little about the military, skills they needed to help the military and their families. They requested I help our field get educated.

A recent thought.. this website might be an answer to my prayers and dreams. More clinicians helping our military veterans are needed. My Mission is to gather educate others about our military families, increase the knowledge of my peers in the clinical counseling field and may a positive impact on our military families.

As time goes on I will be revealing more about me and my experiences as a Bratt and how I got to where I am today.

If there are any questions you would like me to answer, please let me know. Feedback is welcome.
